Tiles and Tribulations

So, who wants to go shopping with me for new tiles for the shower? Where do you even buy tiles? Kent's selection was sucky to nonexistant, and Home Depot's web site doesn't have much either. I hope there's actually more in the store. These guys make gorgeous ceramic tiles, but they don't have a Canadian distributor. Grr.

Photos of mass bathroom destruction to follow!

Eugh. Spending three and a half hours (plus another two in travel) in the wasteland of Bayer's Lake was plenty. There's no effin' way I'm going to take a trip to Bedford. No. Effin. Way. Then again, I don't feel like my mission last night was entirely successful.

Rod, I would totally give you a drive to BEdford if you wanna look for tile. Can you wait until I return from Montreal?

Thanks, vicky, but it won't be necessary. I've orderd some tiles from this place at the Blip called Feron Kitchens. I looked at them in person. Then I talked to them over the phone to order them. And it turns out that the ones that I wanted to get aren't actually made in that style anymore ("Corte Milia" in "bone" with "Oriental Medalion" inserts.) So I went with something completely different and almost sight-unseen because at that point I was just getting impatient ("Corte Milia" in "white" with "Liguria Medallion" inserts.) We'll see. Thank you, Olympia Tile, for having a completely useless website that has NO information on your product line whatsoever.
